Program Description:
Take a ride on Singapore’s very first reservoir in the city, the Marina reservoir, created by building a dam across the mouth of the Marina Bay.
Learn how the Marina Barrage is part of a comprehensive flood control scheme to alleviate flooding in the low-lying areas in the city and why the Marina reservoir is ideal for all kinds of recreational activities such as boating, windsurfing, kayaking and dragonboating etc.

Transportation:
An air-conditioned coach is provided from Bukit Panjang Community Club. Embark / Disembark at Bukit Panjang Community Club.
Refreshment:
Light refreshments/snacks will be provided at the start of the tour.
Important Notes:
- The first part of the tour comprises of riding in an amphibious vehicle on the Marina Bay waters.
- Participants are strongly advised to be punctual to prevent unnecessary delays.
- All participants are to complete the attached indemnity form and submit the indemnity form to the organiser (Bukit Panjang CC Youth Executive Committee) on arrival at the reporting venue. Participants who fail to do so will be denied from taking part in the tour.
- Participants aged 17 and below (as on the day of the event) are to seek their parent’s / guardians’ consent and signature in the indemnity forms. Failure to do so will render the participant ineligible to take part in the tour.
